Wispa the Mini rex
Wispa our Mini Rex Rabbit is definitely one of everyones favourites! His stunning colour and super soft fur never fail to impress people of all ages. He loves to sit in his bed whilst getting lots of fuss and attention.
FERRETS
Bear the Polecat Ferret
Named Bear as when he came to us he was a tiny 8 week old ferret kit who looked just like a little teddy bear.
He’s become a dab hand at hunting out his ‘treat’ at parties and schools
We also have Ruby the Jill ferret who is the real star of the show when it comes to TV shows! She appeared on CBBC’s Pets Factor! Aired 2021
BARN OWL
Luna
Luna is our stunning Barn Owl!
She was bred in captivity and came to us at just 4 weeks old having been creche reared until then.
As we visit lots of schools Luna is a great addition to our animal list as we can talk to the children about animals native to our country and the importance of caring for our countryside and the animals that live and depend upon it.
TARANTULA’S
Isabelle the Chilean Rose Tarantula, Charlotte the Mexican Grey Rose and Arogog the Bird Eater
Leanimals HQ is home to a few tarantula’s!
If you are looking to meet one of them then both Charlotte and Isabelle are the calm and friendly girls who are both used to being handled.
We also have Arogog the Salmon Pink Bird Eater who is very impressive although likes to keep all 8 feet firmly in her tank! She can come along for you to look at.
CRESTED GECKO’S
Floki and Helga the Crested Gecko’s
Floki, apparently named after a character from the programme Vikings, came to us as his previous owner couldnt care for him anymore. He has a couple of party tricks that he pulls out of the bag to wow the kids (and of course adults)
Helga is Floki’s wife, both in Gecko land and Vikings :-)

We have a number of beautiful Guinea Pigs, our two Boars, Bertie and Boris enjoy coming out on visits for snuggles and treats
GIANT AFRICAN LAND SNAILS
Gary and Cheryl
Gary and Cheryl are the slimiest residents here at Leanimals. Gary came all the way from West Africa where he was saved from…gulp!!!! Lets not say more!
Cheryl is an Albino land snail bred in captivity here in the uk so wont make the size of Gary, but she does like to make you say ‘eeeeeeeewwwwww’
BEARDED DRAGON
Spyro
Our Bearded Dragon Spyro enjoys coming out on visits for a cuddle and usually likes to have a snack whilst out and about 🐜
FANCY MOUSE
Snowflake and Pinky
Our ‘chief animal namer’ aka our 7 year old daughter keeps mice as her little hobby!
At the last count we had 15 mice but you’ll normally meet Snowflake or Pinky the hairless mouse.
SKUNK

Well well well what can we say about this little beauty? The hairy ball of fun! Meet Flower! She loves eating special Skunk Chocolate and likes to scare the grown ups by stomping her feet and flashing her tail 🌪
MADAGASCAN HISSING COCKROACHES
Stumpy and friends
Our Hissers came to us from the RSPCA so are another of our rescued creatures.
They are found on the island of Madagascar and can make a hissing noice when startled to try to intimidate any potential predator.
CORN SNAKE
Amber
One of our rescue snakes, she is a beautiful girl with a lovely character. Amber came to us as she couldnt be cared for anymore.
She likes to get out of her viv and explore so enjoys joining us on visits

Introducing one of the biggest crowd pleasers at Leanimals Mobile Zoo: our Royal Python!
Cleo forms part of our’Gruffalo’ visit team but is great for any visit. She is slow and calm amd is loved by everyone.

Meet Pascal! Pascal is an Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. He loves to climb and climb and did I mention erm climb?!?!

This handsome chap came to join us a few years ago when his previous owners couldnt care for him anymore. He is almost 10 years old and just loves humans (and the treats they provide)

These boots were made for walking and all that…well thankfully these guys dont need boots as if they did then what a fortune that would cost.
With their impressive number of legs they never fail to wow both the children and adults.

Looking for a secret show stopper? Look no further! Nipper is the one for you!! Although he isnt a fan of being handled he does have a party trick up his sleeve to wow the crouds

If you’re a Sheffield Wednesday fan you’ll know where our blue tongue skink gets his name from! Ozzie is almost 2 years old and is often overlooked when people choose their animals. He is a beautiful lizard with a striking Blue tongue
AFRICAN SPOTTED EAGLE OWL

Still a baby and still learning the ropes is our Brian! Brian came to us as a two week old Owlet and is just an absolute beauty (in our eyes anyway)
