RABBIT
Rex the Mini rex
Rex our Mini Rex Rabbit is definitely one of everyones favourites! His stunning colour and super soft fur never fail to impress people of all ages.
He loves to sit in his bed whilst getting lots of fuss and attention.

FERRETS
Bear the Polecat Ferret
Named Bear as when he came to us he was a tiny 8 week old ferret kit who looked just like a little teddy bear.
He’s become a dab hand at hunting out his ‘treat’ at parties and schools

BARN OWL
Luna
Luna is our stunning Barn Owl!
She was bred in captivity and came to us at just 4 weeks old having been creche reared until then.
As we visit lots of schools Luna is a great addition to our animal list as we can talk to the children about animals native to our country and the importance of caring for our countryside and the animals that live and depend upon it.

FANTAIL
Africa and Shed
We have two beautiful Fantail’s (mother and daughter) who’s primary role is to attract back our racing pigeons when theyve been out exercising or racing.
Africa is really calm and forms part of our Fur, Feather and Scale school visit team

TARANTULA’S
Tilly the Chilean Rose TarantulaAragog the Salmon Pink Birdeater
Tilly is a calm girl who is very used to being handled.
We also have a Birdeater who is not as friendly but once this breed are fully grown they are very big so can come along to events to be viewed

CRESTED GECKO’S
Floki and Helga the Crested Gecko’s
Floki, apparently named after a character from the programme Vikings, came to us as his previous owner couldnt care for him anymore. He has a couple of party tricks that he pulls out of the bag to wow the kids (and of course adults)
Helga is Floki’s wife, both in Gecko land and Vikings :-)

LEOPARD GECKO
Dotty
Dotty the Leopard Gecko came to us as she was in need of a home. She hadnt been cared for previously so has unfortunately lost most of her toes. She is a real sweetie 🦎

BEARDED DRAGON

Our Hypo Red Translucent Bearded Dragon enjoys coming out on visits for a cuddle and usually likes to have a snack whilst out and about 🐜

FANCY MOUSE
Mickey
Our ‘chief animal namer’ aka our 4 year old daughter chose this little guys name! He was going to be Stuart (little) but Mickey got the casting vote.
He was from an unwanted litter and he had nowhere to go along with his littermates so Rebecca and I gave them homes ❤️

DUPRASI
Darcey, Dudley and Muffin
The Duprasi’s always leave an impression. They are part of the gerbil family but are a real hidden gem of the pet world

MADAGASCAN HISSING COCKROACHES
Stumpy and friends
Our Hissers came to us from the RSPCA so are another of our rescued creatures.
They are found on the island of Madagascar and can make a hissing noice when startled to try to intimidate any potential predator.

CORN SNAKE
Amber
One of our rescue snakes, she is a beautiful girl with a lovely character. Amber came to us as she couldnt be cared for anymore.
She likes to get out of her viv and explore so enjoys joining us on visits

ROYAL PYTHON
Cleo
Introducing one of the biggest crowd pleasers at Leanimals Mobile Zoo: our Royal Python!
Cleo forms part of our’Gruffalo’ visit team but is great for any visit. She is slow and calm amd is loved by everyone.
